Blue

Two things before I begin...

#1 - I feel the need to make it clear that I'm not eating like... three whole sno cones a day. While I would love to eat that many Tropical Snos every day, I don't think it would be the healthiest option. ...not that I still don't eat more than I should, probably. :)

#2 - The other day, someone ordered "a Lover's Delight with two spoons." That's pretty awesome.

Ok, flavors! We got two blue-themed-ish ones today.

Blue Hawaii (Blue Raspberry, Pineapple, and a little bit of Coconut)
Name: ***** (5 Stars)
When I think of Hawaii I think of pineapples and coconuts... and when you add the Blue Raspberry, the name "Blue Hawaii" fits quite perfectly.

Appearance: ***** (5 Stars)
Blue and Yellow. Again, a perfect fit for a Hawaii-themed sno cone. Sandy land, surrounded by an ocean.

Smell: ***** (5 Stars)
Blue Raspberry, Pineapple, and Coconut are all really strong scents. And they are, also, all really fantastic scents.

Taste: **** (4 Stars)
I really wanted to give this one a 5-star rating for taste because all the other factors were so excellent, but... I have to be honest. While this flavor is super fun and does taste pretty fantastic, I wouldn't feel right giving it five stars.

Would I order this flavor again?
I think I would... especially if I was in the mood for Blue Raspberry (which, honestly, I rarely am). But pineapple and coconut are some of the best complimenting flavors, so if you like Blue Raz, this cone is an great option for you.

Overall Rating: 4 3/4 Stars

Blue Island (Blue Raspberry, Coconut, and a little bit of Strawberry
Name: ***** (5 Stars)
Another perfect-fitting name! It goes along with the other aspects of this flavor, splendidly.

Appearance: ***** (5 Stars)
This coincides with the name swimmingly. The Blue Raz and Coconut look like water, then the little bit of strawberry is like an island. I realize that this should really make it a "Red Island," but I think the fact that it's called "Blue Island" makes it more clever. I mean, how lame would it be if someone got to an island and was like, "It's really red on this island... I'll name it Red Island." That would be lame.
Or maybe you just can't see the island because it is really is blue and the ocean camouflages it. And the red island is just a distraction from the way-cooler blue island that only a select few get to know about. Woah - this flavor just got way more complicated.

Smell: **** (4 Stars)
It smells Tropical Sno-y. But I wouldn't give it 5 Stars.

Taste: ***** (5 Stars)
5 star taste! The strawberry really helped. I tasted it and was like, "Woah! I want more of that!" I didn't actually say it outloud, but I thought it.

Would I order this flavor again?
Yes! I would. ...that all I really have to say. It's delicious.

Overall Rating: 4 3/4 Stars

Two fantastic flavors! Both so close to 5 stars... but just didn't quite make it.

  1. I don't think I can get into blue raspberry - it seems like it would be too sweet.

I demand you rate something with peach!!! That's my favorite flavor, and you're completely avoiding it. How are you figuring the order on these anyway?

  2. Seriously Mom? Read the titles of the flavors in the order she's rated them and I think you'll notice a trend. She's working down the menu, so peach will probably come somewhere in the middle. :)

  3. You can also note that all the flavors she's rated so far start with "a" or "b." That would be another good clue.

  4. So what about bananaberry with peach? That's my favorite. I haven't seen her review that yet. There has to be something at the beginning of the alphabet that has peach in it.

  5. By the way, my last sign-in word was gertmere. How about considering that for a girl's name the next time you're pregnant, Pam? Gertmere Pamela Rohde has a nice ring to it, don't you think? Or better yet, Gertmere Holisa Rohde - what do you think of that, Lisa?
